Its uncontaminated coast
is part of the National Park of Circeo, it extends for some kilometres
and it is famous for its downs: the last kinds of Mediterranean bush.
The seaside of Sabaudia is very nice, 15 kilometres of thin sand; the
200 metres large beach is decorated with phoenixes junipers, ononis,
lentisks, Phyllirea angustifolia. The clear sea and its transparent
bottom produce a suggestive chromate degree and it inspires a sensation
of relax and peace. The access to the beach is facilitated by gangways
placed along the littoral. In the lake of Paola sailing activities take
place, together with water-sky and boot trips.
The other lakes Monaci and Caprolace are considered of international
interest.
